COOKS AND COMPANY
4lgOnions, sweet
3/4cWater
1/4cVinegar
2tbSugar
1/4cMayonnaise
1/2tsCelery salt

Thinly slice onions. Combine onions, water, sugar, and vinegar; marinate overnight.

Before serving, drain and pat dry. Toss with mayonnaise and salt. Serve on party rye.

Sylvia's notes: I used more mayo than called for, and ate it on tortilla chips rather than rye. Delicious!
